NY Time magazine

Sotomayoralties...ooch! I need to really focus to spell this word!
It's a great assignment from NY time magazine for their "Language" column already out last week. I'm not quite sure what's the story about as it had to be really quick but with NY time, I'm sure it's worth reading anyway.
